FlightInsight Teams Up with Destiny Aviation Services to Bring Online Ground School to the Ron Burton Training Village Aviation Program
FlightInsight is proud to announce a new partnership with Destiny Aviation Services and the Ron Burton Training Village (RBTV) to create a virtual flight training course for its youth mentoring program. The first cohort of students has begun the year-long program, which consists of the FlightInsight Private Pilot Online Ground School and Test Prep and bi-monthly remote mentoring sessions with expert instructors.
The Ron Burton Training Village is a unique program that has mentored nearly 10,000 young men and women since 1985 from its training campus in Central Massachusetts. The organization's mission is to enrich the lives of challenged youth in the areas of dynamic character and leadership development, physical wellness, social and educational advancement, and spiritual growth. FlightInsight will elevate the RBTV Aviation Initiative by preparing its cohorts for private pilot testing and certification.
The FlightInsight program includes the fundamental concepts a student pilot needs to earn a pilot’s license, preparing students to pursue aviation in the cockpit. During the bi-monthly mentoring sessions at RBTV with instructors, students will have the opportunity to dive deeper into concepts from the course including aerodynamics, weather, navigation, regulations, and decision-making.
